12 Feb 2006 21:35

Smokin' Dog, Swansea

Seriously student place with giant jenga and all sort everywhere. Good fun, after hours beers from the corner shop down the road if you havent had enough!

12 Feb 2006 21:34

The Pub On The Pond, Swansea

Nice pub near the uni. Silent, out of the way and well worth a stopover if walking to mumbles from swansea!

12 Feb 2006 21:33

Oceana, Swansea

Another tacky fake wood pub. Cheap though, 2 4 5 on lunches on sundays! Best hangover cure known to man!

12 Feb 2006 21:32

The Sports Cafe, Haymarket

A fair amount of the chav breed in here, but big screens and the 5lb on chicken wings make it all worthwile.

12 Feb 2006 21:28

The Porterhouse, Covent Garden

Great place. At xmas they provide some wonderful xmas beers from all over europe. Pricy and crowded, but then you're in central london, so what the f&$k do you expect??!!

12 Feb 2006 21:26

The Marquess of Anglesey, Covent Garden

Slightly modernised, but still have good beer. Well worth visiting if in the area and in need of a rest.

12 Feb 2006 21:23

The Maple Leaf, Covent Garden

One of the best places in london! Watch out for the 25p a wing night on mondays!!!

12 Feb 2006 21:22

Point 101, Bloomsbury

Looks a bit like a porn set since the refurb. Used to be a good post 11pm drinking hole though!

12 Feb 2006 21:19

The Bar at tcr, Tottenham Court Road

Bit of a crap generic pub. Shiny wood, bad beer and a lot of useless bar staff.

12 Feb 2006 21:17

The Court, Tottenham Court Road

V. student pub! But you can always pop across the road to the spearmint rhino to prove you've got some roubles.

12 Feb 2006 21:17

The Euston Flyer, Euston

Spacious, little character, but worth a visit to prepare yourself for the walk through Kings x.

12 Feb 2006 21:15

O'Neills, Euston Road

Same as every other oneals.

12 Feb 2006 21:13

The Rocket, Euston

UCL student place, with some old men coming onto them!

12 Feb 2006 21:12

The Crown and Anchor, Euston

nicely tucked away. An oasis in a field of mayhem.

12 Feb 2006 21:11

The George, Balham

Nice atmosphere, if a bit 'yuppie ish'. Loads of nice seats, fair beer.

12 Feb 2006 21:09

The Duke of Devonshire, Balham

Great place if youve got the cash. Fantastic beer garden in the summer.

12 Feb 2006 21:07

The Stanwell House Hotel, Lymington

Nice bar. Ignore the toffs and youll be in heaven. great beer, better wine and even better food.

12 Feb 2006 20:58

The Musketeer, Pennington

Great beer. Sadly you get some overflow of scum from surrounding areas. Still worth a visit, especially on boxing day.

12 Feb 2006 20:56

The Hare and Hounds, Sway

Winderful place. Despite being a local pub not scared to experiment with 'foreign' beers. Nice atmosphere, food, and garden in the summer.

12 Feb 2006 20:55

The White Hart, Lymington

Once again a good edge of town pub. Good food - even if microwaved! Great for a quiet beer with mates - always a seat.

12 Feb 2006 20:52

The Tollhouse Inn, Lymington

The tolly is a grade A pub. No tosser tourists here, just good honest folk for a few beers after work. Great beer, fantastic neighbours, calm tranquil atmosphere.

12 Feb 2006 20:50

The Ship Inn, Lymington

Definitely some sentimental value here. Never approach the place on a sunny lunchtime - tourists everywhere! Nice in the evenings if fairly quiet though.

12 Feb 2006 20:46

The Mayflower, Lymington

Nice pub, nice garden in the summer. A lot of girls thinking they're worth more than they actually are in here! Slightly tarted up interior, artificial looking, but one of the better ones in lym.

12 Feb 2006 20:44

Longs Wine Bar and Bistro / Jazz Cellar, Lymington

'Schlongs' - what a place. Many a great night in here listening to 'black magic woman'. Atmospheric, packed, busy, a struggle at the bar, but well worth it for some post 11pm drinking!

12 Feb 2006 20:38

The Borough Arms, Lymington

solid local pub, can't knock it. Darts, pool etc etc. Nice staff, nothing too extravagant. Keep it up.
