Good pub 7 days a week. Something different going on every night. Monkeyfunk on a Saturday night is a good laugh only mildly spoiled by some gay bloke at the back of the room using an imaginary fishing rod...........

Vibrant place with a nice bar to sit at, pretty busy mid afternoon. Can imagine it's rammed on a Friday night. Pint I had was decent, one or two ales to choose from.

Great place. Grotty back bar for old men, gastro-esque front bar full of bright young things (I know it is wrong to hate them for being bright young things but...), a great venue in the round and good upstairs as well. The beer garden sucks but hey (out the front is good for people watching) and prices are London prices as opposed to what they should be (Streatham prices). The chips are the best in London (IMO) but the food is probably too expensive (Tazine over the road is good, BYO booze from the Threshers Offie). I have worked out what makes it good as well, there is probably a higher female-male ratio in here than most pubs. Very pretty boys and girls, very amiable.

Went in last night and had yet another good night. Free music in the mini-globe theatre. The only thing they asked for was that you listened to the music and turned your mobile off. For me this was great as if you wanted a conversation you could go sit in the main bar quite happily and it meant you could hear the excellent music perfectly.

Again great venue, great pub.
