I'm still surprised by the lack of reviews this place gets. It was much more busy than my previous visit nearly 2 years ago. So maybe it is becoming more well known. Situated not far from the Euston Tap and the Bree Louise, it's certainly worth a try if you're in the area. The beer range has also improved since my first visit. Purity Ubum Acorn Sorachi Ace IPA, Oakleaf IPA, Itchen Valley Godfathers & Sharps Doom Bar were all on. Alas, the Addlestones and Old Rosie ciders were no longer present. Aspalls is the next best offering.

It's May 10th 2011 so time for another review i think. I'm sat in the pub now enjoying a pint of Trade Winds (£3.50). They didn't mind giving me a taster, though it was a tiny shot. There are five ales to choose from, no great surprises for the area, but better than most places. Also plenty of European lagers so plenty for everyone.

I'm here in the middle of the afternoon so can't really comment on the ambience as there are only a few people here.
The music is quirky and the decor feels like it is trying also.
Food menu is trendy pub fare but all sounds pretty good and reasonably priced for the area.

Would try it in the evening if i was in the area.

nice pub for a Saturday/Sunday afternoon drink, bout 1ish the sun on the right side to sit outside. Way to busy on a weekday evening, full of snotty looking banking and media types. Still ok if you dont mind standing. Foods good, although a little expensive (sometimes)

Was there again on Friday, nice pints of Doombar, good place to stand outside. Service seemd a bit random but one barman seemed to care about his customers so that's a plus!

Dropped into here after the Bree Louise, it seemed promising with the offer of real beer (and cask marque creditation!) despite the decor - but Black Sheep Best was not yet ready and they'd just ran out of Doom Bar for the person ahead of me at the bar. We left.
