14 Jan 2008 16:31

Came here after a Ladies Football Match, small but nice pub. Enjoyed the meatballs they served here.

12 Aug 2007 19:29

The George, Girton

It's ok nothing special really, not bad for a drink on a hot summer's day. Does serve food here and has Sky Sports.

6 Aug 2007 19:07

The pub is now up for sale, so not sure what is going to happen with it now.

15 Jul 2007 15:52

15 Jun 2007 15:35

The Hare and Hounds, Arreton

Still as good as ever this pub.

15 Jun 2007 15:13

The Horse and Groom, Ningwood

Finally went back to this pub. The food was superb, service was excellent. Has a big beer garden along with a big children's play area. It is well worth visiting if you happen to be in the area. It's a real gem of a pub hidden away in the middle of nowehere on the Iow.

15 Jun 2007 15:12

The Wishing Well, Pondwell

Went back here last Friday, was packed even though it was early afternoon, probably due to the warm weather. Food was good again, just wish I had sat on the outside seating at the front of the pub. Service seemed reasonable, but probably not as good as it was a couple years ago when I last visited.

15 Jun 2007 15:07

The Spyglass Inn, Ventnor

I went back the other day being on holiday, have to say I agree with VentorVisitor's comments. Was good at first but seems to have faded. Although the Burger I had was good. The chips I had were almost cold by the time I got them and had probably been heated up in a microwave. Not sure if I will be coming back here if i'm on the island again in future, as you can get a better meal for a cheaper price in other locations.
Only saving grace is the lovely view of the sea.

15 Jun 2007 15:04

White Horse, Milton

23 Apr 2007 23:18

25 Feb 2007 20:21

The Plough at Langford, Langford

Again the owners have changed hands, unfortunatly my Mother and friends went for Xmas dinner there and they said it was over-priced and not cooked properly, the turkey was dry and the rest of the food looked like it at come out of a packet. They complained and got some money knocked off the final bill.

10 Dec 2006 15:09

The Toby Carvery, Ecclesall

Nice pub just outside Parkhead, food was not too bad, although the yorkshire pudding was a bit hard but overall the service was good and it was not expensive, the pub backs onto a cricket field which is great for the summer.

14 Aug 2006 17:18

The Half Moon, Mildenhall

Decent pub just on the edge of the town center, very cheap for food, good friendly service. Very busy on weekend evenings, very popular with families.

They do a sunday roast but it's best if you want that to get in earlier in the day, also there was at least 2 real ale.

Credit cards are accepted, children are allowed but no children under 14 in the bar area.
