I live locally and yet again there is new management, nice young couple, have just done up the lounge bar and are going to spend a load of more cash on the main bar in the new year. Chav locals are down, kids are out. its getting better all the time.

Do not get me wrong, still a nutter magnet but heading in the right direction.

Popped in for the first time on Saturday afternoon expecting the worst. It wasn't quite that bad but not far off. Over 21's signs were plastered all over the place in an obvious attempt to curb the underage element but sisn't seem to apply to the kids running around the place.

Seemed a pretty desperate place in all honesty but perhaps Saturday afternoon isn't the best time to judge a pub. The slapdash signs on blackboards made it look tacky and cheap but could have no complaints about the quality of the lager.

I used to run this place about 6 years ago.
No trouble and a good crowd.... what happened?

At least you get a please and a thank you. Which is more than you got from the last management. I wish the new management all the best in the future.
