A magnificent pub. Very good range of crisps and peanuts. Always try to pop in 3 or 4 times a year.

Three Horse Shoes, Spellbrook

A cracking ale house with a sophisticated clientele. I eat here regularly with my parents.

A magnificent Ale House - absolutely top drawer. Very popular both with city professionals and teenage drinkers.

The Berrylands, Berrylands

First class! I'd reccomend this to anyone who's considering a pub crawl in Winter's Bridge and Surbiton. Impressive range of bar snacks and service is always quick.

The Lamb, Surbiton

An excellent pub, with first class cheese platters. It's where Surbiton's Bohemian set choswe to drink, but don't let that put you off.

13 Jul 2011 13:38

The Plough, Debden

FIrst class pub with well kept stout and occasional nibbles on the bar. Dog Friendly.

I've paying occasional visits to The Bugle for years. Still one of my favourites in Reading, but I miss The Jolly Porter. Good jukebox.

The Surbiton Flyer, Surbiton

Fantastic Pub. They sometimes sell pork pies and pickles at the bar, and The Guinness is always well kept. Just what you need after a long journey from 'The Smoke'.

The Jolly Woodman, Beckenham

A magnificent pub - certainly the best in Beckenham. Pub dogs, beer nuts, Desperado and darts!

Dusty Miller, Harlow

Always enjoyed the occasional plate of Scampi in here. Can get busy in the evenings. First class Stout.

Best pub in London - there's no doubt about that. Very good steaks.

Magnificent. A really good pub. Excellent draught cider.

The Three Tuns, Bishops Stortford

Cracking boozer - I spent a lot of time drinking here in the 80s. They've improved the toilets since then, which used to be dreadful.

The Tottenham, Soho

One of the best pubs in the West End, maybe London. Locals use the downstairs bar - that's the best place to drink. The toilets used to flood periodically, but they seem to have fixed that problwem now. Good hot nuts at the bar.

The Jolly Brewers, Bishop's Stortford

Used to drink here when Pedro Sphar was the guvnor. I still pop in occasionally for a game of pool and some strutting. Good jukebox.

25 Nov 2010 17:25

The Three Horseshoes, Farnham

Used to patronise this place with my father when a chap called Nigel did the cooking - good steaks. Real ale and gut slapping.

25 Nov 2010 17:22

The Angel, Thames Ditton

My favourite pub in Thames Ditton. I always bring along a few dog biscuits for the hound. Good bar snacks.

18 Nov 2008 11:27

The Red Lion, Thames Ditton

My favourite pub in The Ditton - pool table, daets and extra cold Guinness. What more could you ask for?

17 Nov 2008 13:55

The Tattershall Castle, Embankment

Great Place. Excellent snack bar on deck and comfortable seating below. I can't recommend this place highly enough and drink here regularly in the summer months.

8 Sep 2008 17:32

The Castle, Bishop's Stortford

Fantastic Boozer. It's a crying shame it's closing down. I used to buy flights for my darts there and loved drinking in the Beer Garden in Summer.
