In any other part of the world you'd consider it standard but in the Berrylands/Tolworth/Surbiton Hill area where the competition is so poor it stands out. Wish it would bring nthe 6x back. loveleedshatebates - 14 Mar 2008 14:47
Visited on Monday night. They had special, Bombardier and Batemans Hooker although the Bombardier was off fairly quickly. Wasn't sure of the quality of the Batemans at first but it ot better. Special was ok. Evidently they sometimes have four beers on. Nice enough pub, fairly spacious. Bands play here. GuideDogSaint - 12 Mar 2008 13:34
I have struggled to get a decent pint every time I have visited here and its put me off. Normally the bitter is sourish - dont they clean the pipes enough or have a proper cellarman? 90mile - 9 Nov 2007 17:14
Strange the amount of bar staff that disappear for months then reappear. Nice pub, though only one for miles. Now added attractive of loads of people moaning re the smoking ban - me too! baz66 - 1 Oct 2007 10:51
My wife and I visited the Berrylands again on 8th June at 10:30 and to our disappointment, it was shut. Unfortunately our plane was flying out to Australia the next day, so we didn't get a chance to go back and see the new decor. But we had a peak through the window and took a few snaps. It looked OK. Our last visit was in June 2004. Don't know when we'll be back again but at least we had the chance to visit the area where my wife grew up many decades ago when the Berrylands was part of it all even back then and when her dad used to be a regular. samg - 17 Jun 2007 04:41
