I was taking my friend who was visiting round a few of the pubs and had this on the list because it is a good value pub and the beer is excellent. However when they did not accept his PASS ID card at the bar, I drank up quickly and we left rather disappointed. A shame really, as it's one of the better pubs around.

Surprisingly good considering it is Greene King and looks like a suburban roadhouse pub (well it is really). Several beers on and the atmosphere was ok.

First class! I'd reccomend this to anyone who's considering a pub crawl in Winter's Bridge and Surbiton. Impressive range of bar snacks and service is always quick.

What to make of what is my nearest pub??? Well its busier than it has been for a while, the young manager has a young staff and seems to be evolving a locals pub. I got the impression that whilst the service was fine if you wern't recognised by the staff you wern't supposed to be there. Beer ok, food wise seemed to be a "all you can eat for a fiver" barbaque.
