The Eva Hart, Chadwell Heath

A Big No No from me.
Went in for first time, waited to be served, was ignored bout four times while staff chatted to all her mates. Eventually got served with a dirty pint glass. Went to sit down but was stopped by spotty 17 year-ish old kid who thought id belted his mate outside last week... All in all an absolute terrible 20min spent there. Would rather drink in B&Q!

The King William IV, Chigwell

Lovely pleasent place and clean and tidy... But full of posers in there bmw and mercedes. If your car is not on an 06 plate it feels like you need to leave... n go and buy one before your return... or just walk there lol.

The Flower Pot, Walthamstow

Seemed an ok pub to be in. Would like to come here again on a lively music night. Drink was good and staff friendly. Solid place.

The Dukes Head, Walthamstow

Now to be Fair this pub rates well when Expose (live band) play here on a friday, good atmosphere and usually a good nite out. Pool table and live tv are also a plus and drinks have been ok. Service a little slow sometimes. Holds some good memories for me.

Cauliflower, Ilford

Been going here for ages and this is the best pub for live bands like,

Expose
East of Java
Fab Feedback band

These bands pack the place of like minded friendly people who like to drink and dance. So go on a night they play an see how good it is for yourself.
An Excellent night out on a Saturday.
Earns a Solid 10 out of 10

New Fairlop Oak, Barkingside

In last two years this pub had dived... n still diving like a new channel five drama.
Ran by young kids and attracting even younger chav drinkers has driven out all us n all regulars that found this a rival to local wimpys. Would rather hire a blockbuster video n pay the fine then drink here ever again. Such a waste.. gets a one for being still open

The Bald Hind, Chigwell

Drink in the friendly atmosphere signs are present outside... But Glued ordaments, Controlled lighting and music (which you can set your watch by), a variety of doors to the loo and outside, and fisher price "my first fireplaces" is things which bring us to the Bald Hind.
The beer garden is huge... if you an ant, and parking great... if you own an austin mini metro.
This does have a plasma telly on the wall... but never on and well hidden at all times from public. Find it and you win the Sukhwant and case of apple tango.

Sir Winston Churchill, Loughton

This pub is alright now!
Thing is i work in Debden Broadway where it is and i know most of the regulars already, but if i didnt know no one i would probably end up goin elsewhere for a quiet pint. Pub has good drink, space, and seating. Tv and pool a good idea for here, food is not. Highly Recommended if u do live local or in Loughton area. Easy to get cab home from here as cab drivers usually meet outside. Bonus.

The Carpenters Arms, Loughton

This pub is Very welcoming!
Tiny inside but got some great old country pub atmosphere and drinks. Staff are pleasent and excellent and regulars actually talk to u rather than stare till u leave. Summer or winter this is a nice little hide out. The objects that are on display all about the place really finish a plesent drinking experience.

The Last Post, Loughton

Time to dust off them student memories and bring them here... Cuz it feels like u are one spendin a friday nite in The Last Post. JD format is followed well with tables n chairs getting in the way to the loo and quiz n fruit machines. Bar is big... but lack of "working" staff lets it down so be sure to book you taxi 20 to 30 mins later than planned... Lovely carpet designs, Good crisp Lighting, and handy railing outside to stop u being run over in the high road makes this pub a solid 7.

The Hollybush, Loughton

Now people, Here we have a fine example of Essex breed of drinkers. If your not wearing the required Burtons clothes and coat then best to find entertainment elsewhere. Pub is clean, Late 1am closing time at weekends, plenty of music and young drunk lasses. Service is good a friendly. Good place to see drunken breakdancing, Guinness Adverts on tv and latest Nokia mobile phones...
