The Fishbowl, Brighton

Not a great pub, but it has good fish.

The Fiddlers Elbow, Brighton

Great layout with the bar in the middle and booths at the back. Even though it's an Irish-theme bar it's got nice atmosphere and is good for pre-cinema drinks. Good prices.

The Evening Star, Brighton

Not a comfy pub at all. If you're an ale fan it's probably great, but mainstream drinkers might be a bit put out by the specialist selection.

The Eddy, Brighton

A bit of a sports pub. Can be very noisy. If you fancy a drink you'd be a better off at the Battle of Trafalgar, if it's food you're after go to the Yeoman.

The Earth and Stars, Brighton

The wooden seats make it a not very comfortable-feeling pub. Despite its reputation for good organic food, the menu is a bit disappointing.

The Eagle, Brighton

Has a great aquarium, but the service can sometimes be a bit unimpressive. Food is sometimes OK.

The Cricketers, Brighton

Has a fire sometimes in the winter, and a nice unusual little room upstairs and an interesting little courtyard. Good for after work drinks.

The Crescent, Brighton

Feels like its tucked out of the way nicely. They have a nice pub cat. Quite spacious, you can usually get a seat and it has a garden. Food is ok.

The Coopers Cask, Brighton

It's a bit small - like being in a small boat. Although there's nothing wrong with the pub - the much talked-about food is OK - it does seem to be missing some vital ingredient... atmosphere?

The Cobblers Thumb, Brighton

A bit rough around the edges. Sometimes has free pool though, which is a plus.

The Caxton Arms, Brighton

Has a good pool table, has an interesting sunken garden type area, good function room, good books. Interesting layout to pub although can be a bit stressful when it's busy.

The Black Lion, Brighton

A bit of an impersonal, atmosphere-lacking pub. The Cricketers next door is a better bet.

The Battle of Trafalgar, Brighton

Unfortunately doesn't seem to have the very nice landlord and his lovely greyhound dog anymore, but it is still a very nice pub with a nice garden, comfy seats and ace atmosphere. Staff are friendly and a good range of ciders! Food is dependable pub grub, but the Battle is really best for relaxed social drinking. Best pub in Brighton!

Atlas Lounge, Brighton

You can drink cocktails and play chess!! Breakfast is a bit meh. Having waiter service is a bit annoying for a drinking place.
