| back again, this place has a great facelift via just the reorganisation of seating it seems! same management and staff, very friendly and chatty. Drinks selection has gotten even better with harvey's on cask (not sure when this happened but assured it's on all the time now) Food is good and well priced and the toilets have been snazzed up since I was last here - and saw a great duo playing when we were there on weds. all round one of the best pubs in brighton ianson - 19 Sep 2008 23:51 |
| This pub used to be one of my favourite pubs in Brighton. However it has been somewhat tainted by the service my friends and i had recieved one evening. The grumpy, arrogant attitude of one of the bar staff isnt doing the owners of this pub any justice. To actually have a drink poured out and given to you, then for the bar man to walk off talk to his friend for 5 minutes and leave you standing there waiting to pay it just plain rude.There wasnt even an explaination as to why we were left waiting. moley1 - 20 Aug 2008 14:37 |
| One of the only real pubs in town centre. The food in here is really good, and reasonably priced too. The ale is well kept and the whole place has a much friendlier feel than most of the other pubs in town. daisychain - 19 May 2008 17:32 |
