The Fairmile, Cobham

fairly average food but excellent grounds and situated right near a driving range, previous posts put me off regarding the foot as well so it may be best to head into cobham.

31 May 2010 18:50

decent pub situated near lovely playing field. 3 or 4 real ales on in general including surrey hills and london pride and green king ipa. pretty good meals but expensive to eat here on regular basis. nice old interior, definitely worth a visit.

The Stoke, Guildford

Loads of scaffolding outside. not sure whats going on but very much open as usual offers 3d glasses for world cup games.

25 May 2010 18:33

The Boatman, Guildford

Chewing gum? They're probably trying to give up smoking.

Its alright, lacks a certain something but I can't point out what it is, still feels a little cold inside. Ok to sit outside on warm day and 3 real ales on.

25 May 2010 18:29

Esteem Bar and Restaurant, Esher

Has a real ale festival in May. More popular for diners than the one over the road.

27 Apr 2010 19:04

The Screes Inn, Nether Wasdale

One of two pubs situated next to each other in Nether Wasdale. This had plenty of real ales on and plenty of food options.

19 Apr 2010 14:57

18 Apr 2010 17:27

Slug and Lettuce, Guildford

I'm going to break the trend. Visited for lunch the other week and the food was actually pretty decent. Drinks are expensive for a session, but not the worst i've seen by any means.

18 Apr 2010 17:26

Scrumptious, Guildford

Unless I was day-dreaming its called Platform Nine again. Still has pink walls outside so I don't think i'll be visiting.

18 Apr 2010 17:21

The Albany, Guildford

Now does a pub quiz on Sundays - claiming to offer a 100 pounds in prize money. Well it sounds intriguing, worth a go.

17 Apr 2010 14:37

The Robin Hood, Guildford

What an awful place. This really is for the oddballs of the town. Walked by only to be verbally abused by a punter outside. Perhaps i'll have to make another way across town in future.

17 Apr 2010 14:36

Bar Centro, Guildford

This is a great place and first of all this has to go down as a restaurant not a pub or bar. Almost seats are for diners. The food is made well and tastes excellent. Relaxing place to go in daytime or evening for italian food. Did not see what beers they have. Also shows sky sports.
