Description
Find us just off the bottom of the bustling Guildford High Street, our secluded terrace on Bury Street being an oasis of calm away from the crowds. The Keystone is all about an easy-going, relaxed and most definitely unpretentious way of life. We are not a gastro pub, we just happen to like real food, washed down with a tasty real ale or a beautiful glass of wine in a warm & welcoming environment. That, and maybe a bit of culture on the side.
Join us for our legendary Pie Night on Thursday.
We operate an over 21's policy at all times. Families with young children are welcome to dine with us until 7pm. We close at 5pm on a Sunday.

A proper pub for adults, out of the way of the nearby Bridge Street hordes who should be at home revising for their GCSEs. Pretty quiet midweek evenings - so a good place for a civilised drink. Usually three cask beers on. Alton's Pride is always excellent. There is also 6X and a guest beer. Food is good and not overpriced (though nowhere in Guildford is cheap). Light, airy, comfortable - and with a bar billiards table. oldloafer - 10 May 2012 08:31
Just a very average pub. Had a real old man pub feel to it (unfortunately not in a good way). I think the new management must've ruined it. The first time I went the food was poor - my sandwich being dry enough to look like it was toasted. Having given the place the benefit of the doubt it didn't redeem itself second time around. The only reason it got one star was because they allow bikes to be stored inside while you have a pint. The landlord is reasonable like that RichardW22 - 3 Mar 2012 00:39
Paid my first visit here in around 5 years today - the place has not changed one bit. Good in the sense of the beer was still good, bad in the sense that NOTHING has been changed - the sofas, chairs, decorations and menu selection is the same as it was in 2007. So, the experience was a tired version of 2000. Looking at my reviews from back then they talk about the kebabs only having one bit of haloumi cheese on - and guess what, a friend of mine ordered that today with, you guessed it, only one piece of haloumi cheese on. Overall mark slipped from 8 in 2006 to 6 now - come on guys, you've earned enough out of the pub since the last revamp to do it again now, surely?! pwr - 26 Feb 2012 18:02
An excellent pub. Staff always professional and friendly, food good and reasonably priced, and the clientele are grown ups! Beer is always up to scratch. Triple fff Alton's Pride is the stock beer, with other standards being Wadworth 6X and Black Sheep Bitter. There is always a guest beer on - Wyre Piddle's Piddle in the Cold tonight. The pub has had a little internal repaint to freshen things up at the start of 2012. There is an open patio area out the back which is nice in the summer - and a refuge for smoking types in all seasons. PhilR - 10 Jan 2012 23:15
