the swan - my local, and a bloody good one at that.
so its not flash but for me thats a good thing. if you wanna be surrounded by chinless wonders who are willing to pay �4 for a bottle of san miguel then head for the birdcage or the three crowns.
a decent old fashioned boozer with decent staff. its a bit rough round the edges but its a good place for a pint.

a complete dive. staff are useless. clientel mostly scum or alkies as its cheaper to drink here than buy meths.

not a great experience at the weekend, they ran out of a few ales and guinness as the footy and rugby were on....dont suppose youd expect to be busy and get the stocks up for a weekend of sporting action involving England....

not the worst pub ive ever been to. not great either. one bar maid (polish i think) was reasonably fit....she gave table service to some polish lads and to no one else.
strange mix of pissed old blokes and familes with kids charging about the place.

agree with other posters here - staff are useless!
I go there after playing footy and even if it aint busy it will take 10 minutes to get served. Just point and ask for what you want.
its common to see 3 bar staff hanging about, moving bottles around or the like, whilst one tries (and fails) to serve a few customers.

total shite hole.
miserable staff. one lad that works/worked there almost broke down after being asked for a round of more than 5 drinks.
tonnes of better boozers round the back streets of bloomsbury/fitzrovia.

quality!!!
strippers for 50p in the pot (20p if you can get away with it!), drink bottles tho.
a place for a visit and laugh with yer mates, not for a night out.

aint been in there for years, used to be top.
