Popped in the other week to catch end of the F1, staff were helpful, happy to put it on for us. Lovely building, good food and reasonable prices for London, but the cask was awful. Cloudy and with a terrible aftertaste. Certainly wouldn't advise visiting for the cask.

A great building and good for sport. Food also pretty good and fair value. But staff are really awful. Not rude. But often waiting at the bar for ten/fifteen minutes and no idea why they take so long. It's not this hard to pour drinks. Same round of drinks also has tendency to come to different amount every time.

Just looking at the reports and abit hit and miss, shame that so many have posted so much online about the kings head and no one can say all good about it. I think that the owners only want to get as much money out of you but not listen to the customers. They are the people that spend if they like they stay if not they walk. So come on listen

Decent enough high street pub that will both suffer and benefit from it's location. On the plus side it's on a main road and is the only pub for about a 10 minute walk, So bit of passing trade. On the down side it's by itself in a place where the trade is likely to pass through.

Still a good choice of beers that are decently kept, nice decor, decent pub food and fairly good staff makes this an all right choice without being remarkable. Worth heading in if you're passing by or in the area but not worth making a detour for.

This is a very big pub with the bar area being split in two by the bar and there is a large function type room at the rear which has a large plasma screen. There is also a plasma screen for showing Sky Sports in the left hand side of the pub, but these were both off during my visit and there was no music giving this almost empty pub a very sedate feel. The Victorian décor and furnishings are very well kept, but there was a strong smell of food and I got a hotel like vibe which I wasn’t that keen on.

Pride, Broadside, Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen were the ale choices during my visit before Christmas. There was also a selection of standard and premium products and I found the barman to be very friendly.

There is some additional café type seating on the widened path outside, but Tooting Bec High Street isn’t the most relaxing place for a beer in the sun.

I would pop back in here if passing, but I wouldn’t go out of my way or stay for long.
