the swan - my local, and a bloody good one at that.
so its not flash but for me thats a good thing. if you wanna be surrounded by chinless wonders who are willing to pay £4 for a bottle of san miguel then head for the birdcage or the three crowns.
a decent old fashioned boozer with decent staff. its a bit rough round the edges but its a good place for a pint.

Nice place on the green, does a good pint of Bass, isn't expensive and has drinkers representing most of the ethnicities of the area. Tables outside are very pleasant to overlook the green in the summer.

This is my favourite pub in the Stamford Hill area.

Lovely for the summer as you can have a relaxing cold pint whilst sitting on one of the many tables outside the pub.

Inside you have a great range of lager, ale, wine and cider all at a reasonable price. Pint of Carlsberg costs £2.60 for example.

There are 2 pool tables, a snooker table, sky tv on a massive screen as well as smaller screens dotted around the pub.

I have lived in Stamford Hill for about 18 months now and it is such a relaxing, fun place to drink.

It is very spacious and there are 2 sides to it - you can go in the side with the pool and snooker tables or the other side which is more of a country pub feel to it.

My favourite place for a good night out, I have turned a few of my mates onto this pub and they really like it too.

I love this place. Its got big screen sky sports, great jukebox that is always up to date with everything from country to hip hop, all the classics. 2 decent pool tables and to top it off a full sized snooker table. If you fancy a sit down then next door has got a more village pub type feel. GREAT bar staff, full of good humour and charm. Great mix of people in the pub from all walks of life, the busier it gets the more fun it gets. Friday nights every few weeks have karaoke, it is the best fun I have had in months! Everyone gets up and has a go, all up for a laugh and a relaxed few pints.

A proper east end boozer with the heart and soul of thousand stoke new. church st pubs.
