The Horns, Crondall

Used to be a regular haunt for a bite to eat and few pints on a Friday night, not anymore. I can't stand eating in a pub which let's a long haired dog roam free. Beer is good, service up and down depending on the landlady's mood.

The Wyvern, Church Crookham

Good size pub and garden, reasonable food and a good evening out. Bit out of the way unless you live relatively local, it's defintely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The Black Horse, Crookham Village

Nice, friendly little pub although I'm not a fan of dogs being in the bar so it loses points for that. Wouldn't eat there but nice for a quiet drink.

Fox and Hounds, Church Crookham

"You're not from these parts........." - This pub is a complete locals place, walk in and they'll all stop drinking and look at you! Having said that, the location is fantastic, especially in the summer, and the food and drink is good and reasonably priced.

The Tweseldown, Church Crookham

Still known as the North Horns to us old local boys this place is going through a bit of a resurgence at the moment. Food is good and prices are good too, can be a bit of a locals place in evenings but less so these days than in previous times.

The Foresters, Church Crookham

Decent food reasonably priced, bit of a locals pub in the evenings and not the friendliest. Not a place that is walking distance from anywhere really but worth a drive for a bite to eat of a lunchtime.

The Heron on the Lake, Fleet

I wouldn't classify this place as a pub, it's somewhere to go if you want to eat, certainly not somewhere to go just for a drink. Fantastic location but really let down by it's insistance on attempting to be a resturant.

The Flying Goose, Fleet

Average pub, used to be excellent when it first opened and was run by Dave Snr and Dave Jnr, has unfortunely been going downhill ever since. Food is good, averagely priced and poorly served after a significant wait.

Harwoods, Fleet

Used to be a good pub until they started playing terrible music FAR too loud, then people stopped going there (they couldn't hear themselves let alone anyone else) and the place closed. Not missed.

The Oatsheaf, Fleet

Reasonable pub, not the best in town but then certainly not the worst. Big garden which never seems to be taken full advantage of. Beer is reasonable at best and the expensive side of averagely priced. Having said all that the place has come on significantly compared to what it used to be like, so hopefully onwards and upwards.

The Sports Bar, Fleet

Pretty good place, although very expensive and would be likely to attract more people if the prices were more reasonable. Great for Sporting Events when the management don't try to charge you extra for admission. Nice atmosphere in general though and beer is always decent.

The Prince Arthur, Fleet

Great prices and always a laid back atmosphere, always the starting point for an evening out. The no music policy lets the place down a little unfortunately, but it is ideal for those that want to just have a drink and a chat.

Propaganda, Fleet

Nice atmosphere, very relaxed and friendly, even has table service for beers which is great. Decent music playing at a decent volume, good night out. Fails on the price side of things unfortunately as this is the most expensive pub in Fleet.

The Links, Fleet

Awful pub, unfriendly, S L O W service, expensively priced. Food is reasonable but worth going further into town for a better drink and atmosphere.

Emporium, Fleet

Reasonable. More expensive that some of the other pubs in the area with a less friendly atmosphere than them too. Seems a favourite haunt for teenagers and consequently the testostorone levels go through the roof at the weekend after a few pints.

The Prince of Wales, Fleet

Great location and fantastic size interior and exterior. Unfortunately currently managed by the most inappropriate people to run a pub in existance. Miserable, rude, unfriendly, incompetent - such a shame that a place with such potential is being hampered by the brewery's seeming inability to source a good manager. Avoid for the time being!
