| Had a very nice Fathers Day lunch with my family. We had to wait 30 minutes for the food but we were advised about that beforehand, the pub was very busy. Nice to have a choice of 4 Real Ales, I'll certainly be going back. Peter_P - 18 Jun 2008 15:50 |
| I prefer this pub to the others in Fleet Town centre. MOST of the staff are friendly and efficient. Some are very good. The drinks are cheap, being a Wetherspoons - always an attraction, but perhaps too cheap when you see young girls drinking a pitcher of an alcoholic cocktail, through a straw! The food can be variable, depending on who is working in the kitchen and which managers have ordered (or not ordered) food supplies. The breakfasts are great value and always hot. It is very good value for money. Small criticism - why not wipe the tables with a clean cloth or better still a cleaning wipe. Nearly every table is sticky, after it has been wiped. | This is one of my locals and I have been using it quite a bit last few months since it was refurbished. I have found the staff friendly, the food is standard pub fare and good value for money (and have not had any of the long wait problems some of the earlier reviews have suffered).
