| What a lovely Pub to go too. Great Manager and great staff. They make you feel very very welcome and can not do more for you. The service was great and staff very helpful even though it was busy. Food was fab nice hot and very fresh. Great garden for kids to run round and play in. Great selection on food and largers. What i liked about the food i was able to say can i not have that filling but add this which was not a problem Very friendly people in there and great pub to watch the football today, all laughs and jokes which i like in pub. A place i would go back to as it was so friendly and great locals. loveland777 - 20 Mar 2011 20:30 |

| Returned after an extended absence and I must say it has improved but you have to be lucky which night you drop in. Some nights it's really great but another it will be really loud - due to the low ceiling of the extension. Been a regular for about 20 years on and off. For the moment it's back on. addick - 23 Jun 2008 21:43 |

| Traditional village pub, which has been updated to include TV screens and extended too. I have eaten here a few times & been pleased with the meals and service. Drinks prices higher than in town, but I guess they have to earn the money to stay open & it would be a shame to lose the local village pub. Can't please everyone - dogs are allowed inside, which can put you off eating, but my parents love not having to leave their tiny dog in the car. Sometimes the "old regulars" think they own the place and talk very loudly - which can be a bit annoying when you're trying to watch the football in peace, but then they spend far more down there than I do, so how can I complain?
