visited pub recently. nice tidy pub with extencive menu. 2 ales on , pride which was passable and harveys. good corner boozer. i liked it.

visited to taste their local beer. had kemp town ale and old trout, both tasted the same, totally bloody awful!!! nice corner pub. nice decor inside too.

oh dear. compass have bought it. now own both pubs in the village. gonna be expensive ale. will probably go the same way as the new inn hurstpierpoint. shame. bring back the north star!!!!!

visited pub for peterborough united match, crashingly superb selection of ale, in an excellent but compact pub.if you have the misfortune to have visit bradford,give it a visit , just up from railway station,it is well worth a visit. enjoy.

a good selection of ale when i called.but a bit expensive tho. even have dark star now and again. needs a lick of paint on the outside, but inside a lovely back bar. barman a bit grumpy when you spoken to him . been a couple of years since i last called in, [very rude last time]but will call again.

visited beer fest last night, unfortunatly the only let down in the pub came to light, its just too small.we had to stand outside, people and regulars where turning up, took one look, then buggered off. once again beer superb. i wish they would buy the house next door and expand. god bless critical mass!!

for the second time in a year , the pub has been gutted out and tarted up. very trendy,and take a torch because its bloody dark in there!!.on the plus side , timothy taylors landlord and adnams broadside. no longer a locals pub, which is a shame.

was in last saturday night. beer very very poor.service poor. 2 ales finished, took 25 minutes to change them. landlord more intrested on being the other side of the bar. we left massivly pissed off.

a larger version or the sister pub , evening star brighton. as always, a crashingly superb line up of ale, decor excellent,and barmaids that are very pleasing on the eye. trouble is , its miles from nowhere,so strictly a village locals pub.

called in recently, gone completly downhill since seamus left , food still good tho. got rid of the ridiculus manager , and has been replaced by the owner, who is now running the bar.hopfully the ale will get better. if you like your lager over �3 a pint this the pub for you.

when in brighton, the only place i visit.
spectacular range of beer from dark star, ansty.
also beers from europe.the only fault of this pub is it;s too small, but dont be put off by that.
a beer drinkers paradise.
try the hophead, yum.

my pick of all the pubs in a 10 mile radius.
a superb selection of ales, including guest ales from afar.landlord a friendly chap, the landlady not so.
a good locals boozer.
if you want a quiet[ish] pint saturday night, this is for you.
