A welcoming pub, once you have successfully negotiated the narrow gap through to the back carpark. Hassan the proprietor really looks after you. tommo5 - 24 Jul 2011 15:34
Go there a few times a year and always first rate. Food is always good but maybe the menu could be updated a bit. edandcorinne - 19 Jul 2010 21:44
Really friendly pub. Went in there on a sunday, arrived just after they normally stop serving food but were very helpful and willing to still accommodate us. The atmosphere felt really comfortable and it seems to be an an excellent village pub. The only (and I mean only) minor disappointment is that on the occasions we've been in there all the ales are just the usual big names (Harveys, Pride, Bombardier etc.) Although excellently kept reynedd - 22 Jun 2009 00:29
We visited for a family birthday meal and found this pub to be an excellent eating establishment! The food was tasty, well cooked and plentiful and arrived promptly after ordering. The chef greeted us personally, as he did a few months back on another visit. If we had to criticise anything it would be the wait at the bar, with drinks (eventually) served by an unsmiling bartender. But otherwise, a big thumbs up from us! micbinks - 16 Oct 2008 18:14
Best pub in Hassocks, by some margin. Friendly, excellent choice and quality of beer and no nonsense menu. Enjoyed playing bar billiards in here, though losing to a pair of 11 year olds was chastening! pipsby - 16 Apr 2008 12:37
