Sorry Old Skool but this place seemed more like a Restarant than a pub to me when i visited last bank holl Monday (yesterday)
All table were taken by people eating.
Anyway I had a pint of Harveys Best for £3.10 which was OK.

Very much the everyman’s pub.

Much better now due major refurbishment and redesign.

The comments in this review thread referring to “ASBO’s”,”Yobbos” and “Giros”, are all very telling of the misinformed unfounded middle-class attitudes and snobbery of the area.

If you want a down-to-earth pub with good beer and food, this is the pub for you…

(This is a pub that serves good food, it is not a restaurant that happens to be a pub)

Next to the railway station, has everyting you would expect fom a pub next to a railway staton, though food is better than some, they know what a vegetable is.
