The beer is excellent, service was freindly and the pool table at £1 a game a welcome extra - I would recommend the place, although I visited on a very quiet weekday afternoon - and I could believe that there could be a bit of chav-infestation late evenings, but have seen no evidence of it! jfrebrycn - 9 Aug 2009 11:41

I visited this pub yesterday and it had a fantastic new menu which was 10/10 in my book. Also I got speaking to the friendly staff and have booked their function room which is huge and well equipt. Its a MUST VISIT 10/10 contact_matt102 - 30 May 2007 15:04
Used to be OK in the day with the cheap Harveys and chap with the shaven head behind the bar allways up for some banter. Gone downhill now generally full of the Hassocks and Hurst ASBO kids most nights. Can still have a good night if you catch a night before the unemployed cash their giros. hassockstrader - 24 Jan 2007 17:28
Popped in for a quick half whilst waiting for the train. Not the greatest Harveys I've ever tasted, reasonably priced though at £1.20. Spitfire was also on offer. The pub seems okay generally and the games area is cool if you like that sort of thing. giantelf - 6 Sep 2006 16:56
