The Battle of Trafalgar, Brighton

Being about a minute from the station this is a brilliant pub for meeting people if you are arriving by train. I never want to go anywhere else really, no point. Harveys is very good, bar always busy, at 5PM it fills up and there is a real buzz to the place. Lots of friendly people, does not attract the wine bar set.

The Shepherd and Dog, Fulking

Most people from within a 10 mile radius and in their 50's will have happy memories of this pub. In its day, which was the mid 80's, a truly lovely pub. Everyone who has ever had too much to drink would have ended up in the stream. Used to get busloads of boozers here at one time, bit quieter now, where isn't. Sad to hear some of the employees have had bad experiences here. It's a beautiful setting for a nice pub.

The Woolpack, Burgess Hill

Last here a week ago on a rare sunny lunchtime. Several bitters, but I can never resist Strongbow if the sun is out. Large pub, never seen it full, but I only get here during the week. They are trying to do their best.
