Flynn's, West Ealing

I like this pub, its cosy and the staff are friendly and pass the time of day with you, I used to go here regularly and went again last weekend after a 9 months+ absence and all of the bar staff came over to say hello. The beer tastes fine, you get 35ml spirits and it stays open until 12pm at the weekend. The locals are a friendly bunch and 'most' of the live bands are good and happy to sing requests.

The Redback, Acton

Everytime I have ever come here (which is a lot) someone has picked up my drink and tried to run off with it. UGH But that is a small price to pay for the absolutely superb bands that play live here.

Greystoke, Ealing

This is a truly great pub, drinks are reasonably cheap, ditto for the food and it tastes good too, but the best thing is the comfortable welcoming atmosphere. Since they have refurbed the Grange and the North Star (WHY) this has been my haven. Watch out though for the dippy young barman who charges at least 1.50 a round more than anyone else.

The Viaduct, Hanwell

I visited this pub the other day and it was fab, great selection of ales which change every month. The refurb is fantastic it really brightens up the place which used to be a bit dull and dreary and the locals are friendly. A definate asset to Hanwell which has some dreadful pubs. Check it out, you will not regret it.

The North Star, Ealing

I agree with Gostevie, the North star used to have a great feel and atmosphere that has been replaced by a souless noisy 'wine bar' I too console myself with the fact that the Greystoke is just around the corner.

The Railway, Kew Gardens

Is it legal to have the kitchen beside the loo's? That is so grim.

The Red Lion, Greenford

I went into this pub with trepidation (if thats the right word) after all the bad gossip I had heard and was pleasantly suprised. Had a very relaxed and enjoyable time and its dirt cheap too.

The Castlebar, West Ealing

This is a nice pub, the staff are cool and when I waited 20 mins for my late mate to turn up I didn't feel at all out of place as a female sitting with a drink alone in a pub/bar. The deco is lovely, the heated patio is great, my only complaint would be that the beer is well overpriced, however still a big improvement on the Coach and Horses

The Brook House, Hayes

Do Handle With Care still play here?

The Grapes, Hayes

I must say I agree with grim-one this pub is dire, when recently staying in the Travel Inn, we went and got a curry in the Grapes Tandori just to get a drink in some comfortable surroundings. Unfortunately we did not get a refund.

The Red Lion and Pineapple, Acton

The food here really is great, also bought 2 double Jim Beams and coke and a pint and got change from a fiver. The crowd are nice and friendly, only sometimes there needs to be more of an age balance rather than just the hardcore pensioners and the teenagers. Overall a good pub

Fantastic pub 10/10

The Grange, Ealing Common

Cannot beleive what they have done to this place, Ealings pretentios lot who like to pretend that they are a superior breed seem to like it.
How many more trendy wine bars does Ealing really need?

Barracuda, Ealing

Do not drink the beer here it is so rough. Asked the DJ for a song and he handed me a double CD and said that was all the music he had, so could I chose one from there.

Parkview, Ealing

The ladies toilets in this pub are so far away, they used to be downstairs when it was the Rat & Parrot so why move them.

The Drayton Court, West Ealing

This is a great Pub, delicious, imaginative and reasonably priced food. Great downstairs disco's and also accommodates chess and rotoract clubs. The beer garden is amazing with heated lamps for when it gets a bit chilly and a play area for children.
The only downside is that there isn't much of an atmosphere and the staff can be quite rude.

The Viaduct, Hanwell

Cannot beleive that this Old Fashioned pub is doing Jungle Music Nights. What a disaster
