Good food, except when the wife and I went there they tried to tell us we couldn't have tap water (along with the beer and wine we were buying anyway along with our meal) and would have to buy bottled water. "Err, no love, that's illegal." Needless to say we got the tap water but don't let them try it on with you if you go in there. Kind of follows that despite the nice interior and friendly staff the pub might be struggling, as the Sky TV screen has returned on the far side to try and win back the footy regulars who desserted the place. aldhous - 27 Nov 2008 15:02
Great pub, great selection of fullers,friendly and well worth a visit, 8/10 fat_beer_badger - 17 Aug 2008 21:37
Saturday night visit with the family - very welcoming atmosphere - nice food - HSB good but cola @£2.25 and house wine @£4.25 a glass a bit steep. The service was excellent and the waitress extremely attentive. Overall a nice pub which is trying very hard - unusual for London! dazb - 15 Dec 2007 21:56
Excellent pub, probably the best in Hanwell. Nice decor inside, great Fullers ales on tap, very clean, friendly staff, friendly locals and excellent food at reasonable prices from an ever changing menu. Decent sized beer garden although it could do with some new tables, big smoking area just been built outside should keep the smokers happy and a reasonable car park. Won Fullers Best new Pub of The Year in 2006 after a major refurb, still feels like it's going from strength to strength. ealingwomble - 11 Dec 2007 18:16
Usually good beer but they do have the odd "off" day. Service is a little forced; it would be nice if the bar maids actually smiled every now and then ! Food is excellent as is the wine selection. jgill49723 - 5 Nov 2007 18:23
