| The only disappointment with this pub is that it does not offer real ale - think John Smith's Smooth is the nearest it gets to that. Very friendly and you get a late one at weekends. Smokers now well looked after. Landlord is a top man too. Good local pub. Hanwale - 22 Dec 2008 21:35 |
| Have to comment on the friendliness, or otherwise. I think this is the only pub I've been in when when I walked in, the entire pub stopped talking en masse, turned around and stared at me in silence for a second before getting back to what they were doing. | Good straight forward Irish pub, decent pint of Guiness, good for sport, lively atmosphere but very friendly. Might not be the best for real ale and food, but it's a great place for a drinking night out in Hanwell. ealingwomble - 11 Dec 2007 18:23 |
