The Albert, Witham

This pub after the fire has become The Railway. They have done a decent job in tidying it up as well. Went in last night for the first time and very pleasant it was too. A nice stop off en route home from the station across the road.

Dicconson Arms, Appley Bridge

Nice pub to play darts in on a Sat afternoon. Friendly staff

The One Tun, Farringdon

Decent enough pub but not quite sure what to make of the landlords/owners? pretty rude tbh. would most certainly put me off going for a drink in there

Battesford Court, Witham

Me and the missus come here a lot for breakfast on a weekend, we find it one of the most appealing Wetherspoon pubs we have ever been in. Its clean and contrary to the previous review (albeit a while back) the service we find is very good indeed.

Jack and Jenny, Witham

Went in for lunch yesterday for the first time (Moved to Witham in April) and it must have improved since the last reviewer as we found it welcoming and very good indeed. Very spacious, we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I live at the other end of Witham to the pub which is a shame as i would def use it as a regular haunt.

The Swan, Witham

Just moved to Witham and went in this pub the other day. Seemed a nice pub with a good darts throw too (always good). Landlord seemed a pleasant guy. Will def go back even if its a bit of a walk from where i live.

The Bonesgate, Chessington

Chavland..........Kids with spots trying to be men but failing dismally. Poor atmosphere, bad pub in a bad part of town unfortunately. Please close it down.

The Station Sports Bar, Appley Bridge

Great pub for darts....its a nice throw.......scope for another board.....could be a good venue for any darts team.

The Porters Lodge, Monument

Great for darts, which is what the City needs after the demise of The City Darts down Commercial St. All it needs is raised oche's and a bit better lighting and there is a goldmine there.

The Eva Hart, Chadwell Heath

Typical Weatherspoons, full of people you wouldnt want to drink with. Go top the White Horse a bit further down the road 500% better.

The Waggon and Horses, Surbiton

New?? landlord has turned the Waggon into a more modern pub. Foods great, prices are a bit steep though for lager (City prices!!!) and no chalk for the dartboard either which is never a good thing.

The Volunteer, Lewes

Went into this pub on Sunday for something to eat and the live music. Was in Lewes visiting friends and was met with a very nice atmosphere indeed. The food (sunday roast) was very good and the music pleasant on the ear. The landlord and lady were very hospitable and all in all a thoroughly recommended experience.

The Scarborough Arms, Whitechapel

Shut down now

The Bar Locks, Aldgate

Had a sunday meal in here a short while ago and it was top drawer!! (more than i get at home!!). Very nice pub indeed when i was in the other Sunday it had a feel of being somewhere in France or something not in the heart of sweatshop land in Aldgate. Dartboards too!!!(which is a dying thing in London). Oh and i concur the barmaids are the best in the business!!!....Oh im off there tonight as its Karaoke night apparently!!

The Market Trader, Aldgate

Fair play but id suggest if people, especially the business people (of which i was one but now work further afield) around there want good food then a proper restaurant would be in order. To say it isnt a gastro pub is nonsense if you've employed top class chefs to cook??.

The Market Trader, Aldgate

The Trader used to be a regular haunt for myself and workmates.....the landlady always had a smile for us....unfortunately the owner seemed to try and run the pub into the ground but the landlady still ran it well. Used to be great for football nights.....seems a soulless place now......the food especially.....you have to pay for any veg!!!......blimey its a pub not a Ramsey restaurant!!!!.
