| the bar locks what a great atmosphere,weds is curry night ( pint and a curry £5.95)a great deal and plenty of it ,thurs karaoke the place was buzzing . friday nights are buzzing as well,sunday i had the roast lunch it was excellent and to much for me! very good banter with the football the place is like a pub should be excellent beer (landlord and pride ) the staff are very good at looking after your needs.I was impressed well worth a visit. traderx - 3 Mar 2009 15:39 |
| Have been to the Bar Locks a few times recently both at lunchtime and after work. I don't normally write reviews, but I had to this time to say what a great atmosphere there is in this pub. Lunch is reasonably priced and is very generous and in the evenings there is a great mix of drinkers - the firemen are an obvious bonus! Whether it's a quiet bottle of wine or a larger gathering with your friends, this pub caters for everybody's needs. | I was in The Bar Locks last night and it was buzzing. There were loads of fit guys in there who were also very sociable. The atmosphere was very friendly and there was karaoke - the usual mix of very good singers and also some very entertaining singers - with the added crowd support you don't often get on karaoke nights! | A welcome return of a pub that does what it's supposed to do. Friendly clean & welcoming, quick lively service & staff that are glad to see you.
