Life Bar 1, Three Bridges

Truly bizarre makeover at this pub, I was walking past here on my way into a town and fancied stopping in for a quick sit down and a pint before my christmas shopping and I was gobsamacked about what had been done to this place. The place seems to bear no real relation to where it is, the parade of shops nearby is hardly teeming with businessman on the go yearning to check their email on their laptop whilst munching on a ciabata washed down with a bottle of export lager.

The Red Lion, Turners Hill

Proper real pub of the old school, it's well known locally for having the best pint of Sussex around, well worth having an evening at this pub.

Duke's Head, Crawley Down

For what it is, a Beefeater restaurant it's excellent. The beer is good, the food is good and the service is also good. I eat her on a fairly regular basis and would recommend it to anyone.

The Cherry Tree, Copthorne

Used to be a lovely little pub with great pub food that used to be in desperate need of a makeover which continued Brewery incompetence has been turned into a makeover desperately in need of a pub. The food is hideously overpriced and quite frankly hideous, the same unfortunately goes for the beer. Has been in a continous nosedive since Hall & Woodhouse took over King & Barnes and then subsequently kicked out the tenants, I just wouldn't bother TBH.

The Plough and Furrow Inn, Smallfield

Used to be terrible, terrible place very much favoured by members of the "travelling community" ;) Last time I went there a few years ago we pulled in to the car park to be confronted by a lorry that had been set on fire, needless to say we swiftly moved on. From the comments hear it would seem that the place has been turned round somewhat, I may give the place another try soon and let you know what I thought of the place now.

The Bell Inn, Outwood

Still a nice enough place to visit but it's former excellent reputation for eating seems to be on the slide whilst it's prices have stayed on the high side. I'd still pop in for a few beers and something to eat if I was in the area but the castle would be my preference. I don't want to sound negative as it is still a very nice place and way above the usual standard for the area, well worth a visit.

The Castle, Outwood

Lovely country pub with a well deserved reputation for having excellent food. If you live in driving distance would highly recommend going there for a meal, you will enjoy it enormously.

The Prince Albert, Copthorne

Greatly improved friendly locals pub with good selection of beers. Food isn't exactly gourmet but it's wholesome and very reasonably priced. The decor seems to be constantly being improved and it's now virtually unrecognisable compared to it's former dingy appearance.
