Excellent little venue, with a mix of clientele which works. We started going when we were around 18 after stumbling into it due to the torrential rain. Whenever we are back in Sheffield 8 years on we still always pay a visit.

The Crown and Anchor, Old Woking
Suprised by the good reviews as only went once to watch football, but it was full of people you would not like to meet on a dark night, and who amde strangers feel about as welcome as nunshoot in a nunnery

Avergae food in my opinion.

It is so true that it is the Macdonalds of pubs. The food is bobbah and overpriced, but for some reason is always busy.
It shows how simple some tourists are.
The one saving grace was that it used to have attractive girls working there. There is now no nowt doing, so avoid like the plague.

Very good Sunday Roast as ever by the angry little chef.
Defo the best food in the village.

Bulls Head Hotel, Castleton
Really good pub these days, a stark contrast to past times.
