Apparently famous people come here. Bit run-down on previous visit but ok Pride and Youngs.

Mmmmm..looks like usernames oldepubpro and trainman have suused out a low budget advertising campaign ! Naughty but amusing none the less. Tut..tut gentlemen.

It's not a bad pub by any means but it has no real Unique Selling Point going for it as far as I could see on our one and only visit last year. I do however agree with hitman's review, it must be the most friendly in the area when compared to some of the others ! Conclusion; just a nice friendly place. 6/10

You can't please everybody all of the time but I think this pub is the best in the area, friday nights down the crown are legendary

I confess to be a local - but I love this pub - the food is excellent and very resonably priced and it is the friendliest pub in the area it must be doing something right to be so popular and busy I shall continue to sing it's praises
