If slow and crap service was an Olympic event this pub would be a Gold Medal contender! It is consistently understaffed and the bozos that were there only operate at half-speed. I have seen countless customers walk out because they have been kept waiting too long by the indolent staff. The situation is further exacerbated by pensioners clutching their free coffee cards closer to their hearts than their pacemakers. It's supposed to be a boozer not a cafe!

The food is diabolical microwave crap heated up by mindless pimply-faced teenagers and is not as cheap as it once was.

The beer is cheap (like the punters) but expect to have grown a beard by the time you get served - I'd rather pay a bit extra and get some decent service.

Management is non-existant and you are warned not to take your beer off the premeses (sic). A bit of a sheltered smoking area at the back of the pub.

Biggest plus point - Ladbrokes and the cash point are over the road.

The last post is nestled in a lovely, quiet and secluded avenue in Beeston. The pub has been noted for its chef who has a somewhat daring attitude towards cusine. The result is a fine (and affordable) gastro-pub although the smoked lobster has been noted to have a little to much seasoning on occasion. Nonetheless, regardless of what the hacks say, the Last Post is without question, relatively better, than the vic when it comes to food on a pound-for-pound ranking.

The landlord is obviously a very generous individual seeing how cheaply he purveys his beer (which is of a good-to-low quality). There are also a wide selection of beers, with a particular favourite coming from Liverpool. Indeed I highly recommend that everyone tries at least one Robatelli.

The bar staff behave in exemplary fashion and have even been known to joust to ensure a laughter filled atmosphere. Top marks, well done!

Used to be really good when it first opened...steadily become a "drinkers" pub...from 9am onwards if you get my drift.

Watching the barmaid on the morning shift was like watching a lion tamer at the circus. They were all so desperate for some booze they just put up with it.

Rough unglamorous crowd.

I have to be honest service was lousy.
staff were rude some seemed like they should not be working in the atmosphere that includes being around people they were that unsociable. and the food was cold and came with a side order of long hair which turned me right off
