| I started drinking in this pub when I was 16; then it was quiet, oldy worldy and a nice pub. It stayed that way for years and I even worked there. Where's Keith! I don't live in Beeston now, but go back every 6 months and went back a few months ago. God! All brass and new carpets and a 'new' pub and full of a lot younger people than before. Shame, but still The Crown to me. Memories. Still a 9 to me! Times change I suppose and we're all getting older. simonjt - 20 Jan 2007 20:33 |
| AAAAhhhhhhhhhh i love it, it has been my local for years. All olde worldy and original except for the lounge. It was an original coaching house. There are 4 rooms in total including the 'confessional' which seats 4 people around a small table, the door closes you off from the rest of the room and you have your own 3 ft wide bar, it's great. It has outside seating, and it's fab in the summer with all the coloured lights on the walls. It can get quite busy. Really good dukebox with great selection of music. The quiz night is also recommended, i think its on a tuesday. mistymoon - 28 Apr 2005 12:00 |
