Used to be really good when it first opened...steadily become a "drinkers" pub...from 9am onwards if you get my drift.
Watching the barmaid on the morning shift was like watching a lion tamer at the circus. They were all so desperate for some booze they just put up with it.
Rough unglamorous crowd.

I have to be honest service was lousy. staff were rude some seemed like they should not be working in the atmosphere that includes being around people they were that unsociable. and the food was cold and came with a side order of long hair which turned me right off

Rather dull!

It's like the great north/south divide in there now. Felicity and Farquar up the no smoking end wearing their sunday best. Wayne and waynetta down the other end sharing a roll up and half a strongbow. Nasty! It is in serious need of a refurb.

Nice and cheap basically. Nothing more to it exept some nice seats and the IT Box. Well cheap monday nights so head down to last post.

Looks like a huge waiting room, ladies toilets are far far away at the other side of the pub. Food not all that good except for the curry nights. Great for cheap vodka etc, full of teenagers pretending to be 18 at the weekends, and the alcoholic benefit claiments brigade........you cant miss em!
It's an ok place to meet your mates at the start of the evening though

Atypical Wetherspoons conversion from former post office in centre of town.
Nothing unusual about the decor, food, wine, beer, staff or all- day drinking, workshy clientele.
If Wetherspoons didn't make an effort to put posters and prints of local information on the walls you could be in just about any one of their ersatz pubs throughout the land.
