Excellent pub. Fine choice of Adnams and guest beers. Oyster stout was lovely as was the Witbier, though English brewers never quite seem to nail this beer style as they might. Great, great food too.

This ale drinker thought he'd died and gone to heaven !

A 'mini beer festival' greets those who choose to visit ; a truely exceptional range of ales that you cannot do justice to - unless you stay all day !

I managed the Earl Soham 'Gannet Mild', Nethergate IPA & Adnams 'Old Ale' and still regretted not having time for some others!

An open fire& busy, friendly atmosphere just added to the experience.
Highly recommended - as you would have expected !

Our favourite pub in Woodbridge. Great Adnams beers, plus- unusually for an Adnams pub- some interesting guests. Nice beer garden in the summer. Food served all day, and since our last visit the menu had expanded so that it's now possible to get sandwiches, baguettes etc if you're not after 'big food'. Children welcomed, staff friendly, it's all good.

A cracking pub located a short walk from the town centre, best visited on foot via a circular walk along the estuary to Kyson Hill, back down the lane, over the level crossing and across the recreation ground. That should give you a thirst!

Anyone who has seen any of my other comments will know my pet theme is small town & country pubs that offer too many beers, with a decline in quality as a consequence of inadequate turnover (try saying that after eight pints of Broadside!) The Cherry Tree seems to buck this trend, however. I have visited on several occasions, and although they seem to offer upwards of five or six ales, I have yet to have a bad one! Always welcoming, friendly clientele, dogs welcome - highly recommended!

Easily one the best pubs in Woodbridge if you fancy a quiet pint with a good selection of beers. It has a good sized beer garden to the rear. The pub itself is full of character and generally a nice place to be. The Thursday night quiz is always good fun, even if we come last (again). I've never had any problems with any of the staff, their beers or their food.
