What an awful place to go for a drink with your girlfriend or mates. Went there for the second time last evening and gosh, it really is full of your typical drop-outs, wasters, druggies and most especially the few chavs that seem to live in Romsey. - As Nicholas Winterton would say "a totally different type of people". Avoid at all costs. Many better pubs in Romsey, with a more adult atmosphere and a decent range of ales, lagers and spirits. davros1984 - 25 Apr 2010 19:11

If you want a quiet drink this is not the place for you. Full of yobs and drop outs. OldBear - 18 Aug 2009 10:56
Curiosity got the better of me one evening after work and I wandered in. Mistake. No ales available, only the usual electric lagers so I made a swift exit. ChrisP87 - 21 Oct 2008 14:41
great pub if you like loud out of control yobbo 18 - 22 year olds avoid it like the plague if you want a quieter drink try the Star or the William IV for a nice pleasant atmosphere dorsetman1 - 21 Sep 2008 11:37
