What a relief to find a nice, quiet, traditional pub deep in the heart of Chelsea. The staff are very nice and so are the real ales. You can even watch the X-Factor on the TV! (although there's enough space in the pub to get away from it as well). 16jamesdoc - 21 Aug 2011 16:15
The Coopers Arms has just reopened after a refurbishment. The toilets are now all downstairs and brand new. The garden has been redone and has better access. The inside has been cleaned up. There are now 6 handpumps with 2 guest ales (currently Butcombe bitter and Wandle) - all very well kept. Even the moose head has had a clean up! SteveH - 19 Sep 2010 10:48
Started visiting this pub a couple of months ago to participate in their Tuesday night pub quiz. Since then we've won a few bar tab vouchers which has meant we've returned fairly regularly, always on a Tuesday. It can get a bit busy, especially around 6-7pm, but quietens down later on in the evening, and is fairly pleasant once the crowds have dispersed. Youngs bitter is OK, and since I've been going they've had Tribute on as a guest beer, which has been going down very nicely. The food is decent, and for a little while they had a "two dinners and a bottle of wine for £20" offer on, although I'm not sure that's still running. Without the pub quiz I'm not sure I'd go back regularly, mainly due to the lack of beer choice, but the quiz is pitched at the sort of level that means you stand a chance of winning or coming second, and then you can go back the next week and drink for free! That's a good enough reason for me... steej - 13 Jan 2010 16:59
This one's not too far off the King's Road and attracts plenty of the local hoorahs who were in fine form on our Friday evening visit. After fighting our way to the bar, we discovered 3 cask beers from the Youngs range - Bitter, Special and Kew Gold and to my surprise, draught Addlestone's cider. Unfortunately this was the only bright spot to our visit. The atmosphere was a little too rowdy. Some of the pictures and decorations on the wall were intriguing. But the makeover of this pub has most likely taken away any charater it once had. blue_scrumpy - 16 Aug 2009 14:59
