Not a great pub but not a terrible one either... considering its location, its very traditional and full of character.... Though the wine is extremely expensive.

Have been there often to have a drink, last Sunday for the first time I also ate there.
The salmon sandwich was above my expectation, and the Doom Bar (one of my favourites) proved again to be one of my favourite and at a reasonable price.
There was a TV set, but the volume was never invasive, I think the landlord has succeeded in striking the right mix between information/entertainment and the preservation of a typical pub atmosphere (of sort).
I have not used the loo so I cannot comment on its state; I rate the pub with 8 in consideration of the good atmosphere, excellent beer and good, sensibly priced food.

Being on the King's Road, this pub gives the impression of being somewhere people meet and have a quick on before moving on elsewhere though. Very popular with tourists ( which i guess includes me ).

Beer ok, if the choice was uninspirational. Toilets grim.

Good pub in an area with not a great amount of alternatives. Real ale and lagers well kept and there is Sky Sports if you want to watch a match here. Friendly staff and the food not bad either.

Was here a few weeks ago for a few ales with some friends. Generally a good boozer, charming unlike some others in the area, ales are good if a little overpriced (this is the King's Road however). You pay for the location not really the quality. uniqueness or friendliness of the service. Lagers are (as ever) generic and bottles are nightclub prices.

Food is nothing out of the ordinary, if a little weak and bland. At risk of becoming not so much a pub, but a wine-bar-cum-pub. All that said, a solid little boozer
