Largely undamaged oldfashioned pub with three ales on and a food menu, probably the last proper pub on the Kings Road. rainlight - 18 Jun 2008 19:19
my husband took me here at the weekend - he used to live in the area and would go there quite often in the early 80s, but this was his first time back in 20-odd years. the bar was busy, but getting served wasnt a problem and the drinks were reasonably priced. the little bowl of olives we ordered were fabulous too.:D according to my hubby it has lost a little of its feel (and the infamous jukebox!) from when he used to drink there, but still a pleasurable visit all the same! thesloaneranger - 10 Mar 2008 22:33
Dont know how anyone can say this hasnt changed since the 70's? I know it from the early 80.s on and it had a great feel and brill jukebox. That went a long time ago, got smartened up and brightened up so wasnt the same at all. Does a sterling job for the Kings road visitors from near and far, but not the Potter of old. gonetolunch - 26 Feb 2008 22:00
This is the best pub on the Kings Rd - certainly at the top end. I've enjoyed the Potter for nearly 20 years - my wife and I used to do NYE's here when we lived in Sth Kensington. It doesn't really change and that's a good thing - right? murgatroyd - 11 Feb 2007 20:43
took my wife there last night after previously raving to her about the brilliant jukebox in there. Totally disappointed when we got there and the jukebox is no more! Still not a bad pub though teflon33 - 28 Dec 2006 12:18
