| I stayed here for a night in an excellent nicely decorated newly refurbished en suite room with a great shower, fluffy towels, comfy bed and a flat screen telly. Very pleasant staff and great value for money. Recommended! Witofthestaircase - 19 Nov 2010 20:53 |
| Looks OK from the road, but inside this is a pretty basic pub with sport on the TVs plus a pool table in the back room. It does, however, offer food and B&B accommodation (but I'm not sure that I would wish to try either). Two handpumps, but only one clipped (for Hogs Back T.E.A. at £3.00) and even then the barman had to go the the cellar to pour it direct from the barrel (but despite my scepticism this turned out to be fine when it appeared). rpadam - 29 Aug 2010 20:51 |

| Stayed at Star Inn over weekend, despite booking online we found there was not a room available on arrival, we were then put in a long term tenants room for weekend, standard of room was poorno yale lock on door, just a standard key, shower room down hall had no lock on it so we didnt dare use that and to top it all no offer of a discount on room price for taking a sub standard room. Totally disgusted with whole stay, whole experience very poor, will think twice about recomending it or using it again. aussiehouse - 27 Apr 2009 07:53 |
