This pub has been I guess closed for ages, but the outer facade is still there and the interior untouched so god knows what's happening.

The fabulous Tom (who wasn't actually the landlord but loved the old-style BL&FH)left when the pub started to change. He's been living in Denmark - and watches the Arsenal with the Danish Arsenal Supporters Club - but is about to re-enter London orbit in December 06. He will be looking for gainful employment - any offers?? And the Japanese punter is Suji, a BLFH stalwart and another solid Gooner.
Shame the place changed.

Popped in here at the beginning of a night out and was none too impressed. Totally agree with the comments about the staff who gave the impression they'd rather be anywhere else. The pint of Stella I had was foul, tasted dead and no doubt a cause of the lines not been cleaned in yonks. Definitely a place to avoid.

Whats happened to this pub! It has changed recently. Its now a Nicholsons pub and was full of suits last Wednesday. The previous landlord, Tom, is no longer there.

This used to be a great place to watch football, especially the midweek European games as Tom was a solid Arsenal fan. There used to be one mad Japanese punter who ch recently eered throughout the game draped in a flag!

Does anyone know where Tom (and the mad football fans) are now?

My mate reckoned it was one of those places trying to look like an old pub but everything's new and there's no atmosphere. Although he did say the cheap Stella was a redeeming feature. I liked it !
