This is a very good pub indeed and can cater for just about anybody.
It is a large place with lots of different seating areas so there is plenty of space to get out of the locals way if you know what i mean.
Good drinks prices at £7.99 for a very nice bottle of wine.
Didn't have the food but it did look ok.
This was a lovely place to spend my birthday in and one of the best pubs in Torbay for sure.

10/10

A friendly street corner boozer with outside beer patio/courtyard.
A good pint of Jennings Lakeland Stunner was quaffed at a reasonable 2.55pint. 7/10

I always liked this pub when I used to come down fron Glasgow. It was always friendly even though a bit of a dive, but still had a decent duke box and the bar staff were pretty sound. I remember seeing a bloke standing against a wall actually sound asleep and I never knew that could be done, but it was harmless fun.

Will visit again when down next month

I see that there's a 'Helen' managing the place again. If she is as successful as the glorious and feisty 'Helen' that opened the Bull & Bush in the late 70's, she will be a roaring success.

Good luck Helen.

Liked it to start with. Then got rough. Full of yobbos, toilets disgusting ann stank, foul language and some drunk making a right mess in the disabled loo and breaking the lock and then could be seen urinating with the door open. Never went back after that.
