2nd Pub visited on the Island. A bit more for locals that the Atlantic over the road.

Decent pint of St Austell HSD in an interesting old building.

More of a locals pub, though whether this was because live football was being shown, I'm not sure.
Served tribute and proper job, though I had the St Austell sunshine beer which was good. Has live bands on certain nights. Not a bad pub and worth a visit.

Really rather typical seaside pub with nothing especially wrong, but nothing to tempt you to revisit. Everything quite formulaic with Proper Job and a range of St Austell beers

Good choice of St Austell beers - not as nice as Sharp's Doombar, but that is my personal opinion and others will undoubtedly prefer the St Austell. Limited choice on menu - the meal was alright without being exceptional. Appears to be very much the locals local and did get extremely noisy later in the evening.

Nice pub in the centre of town with a good bar and pool table outside the back. Beer and service was fine but we tended to have a quick coffee here in the morning before getting a ferry out for the day. Restaurant looked nice but we didnt eat here.
