Good pint of St Austell Tribute. Very dark inside, in the low ceilinged bar, but we headed out to the patio for fine sea views and the rest of the punters.

This is more of a restaurant pub than a drinking one.
Serves St Austell beers. I had the tribute which was good. Can't comment on the food, but judging by how packed it was, it can't be bad, though the numbers must mean there will be a wait.
Has a nice terrace which overlooks the harbour and is dog friendly. An inn in the true sense as accommodation is available.
Not a bad place to go for a couple of pints, though I preferred the other pubs on St Mary's.

Not a bad pub though I cannot comment on food. The St Austell's beers were fine, the view from the terrace fine, though the seagulls were a bit too attentive.

Nice pub, full of character, serving a good range of St Austell beers. Good menu choice, but the service was dreadfully slow and the food best described as average.

I was interested to see the previous comments on this pub because my experience was very similar. We were in this pub at the end of May. We ordered our food and sat down at our table. After 45 minutes nothing had happened so I went to the bar and asked the young man what was going on, he said our food would be along shortly. The strange thing we noticed was that people who arrived after us were being served. Eventually our food arrived after just over an hour and I think my wife's fish had been cooking for the entire time we had been waiting, it was totally dried out. I had Scillonian fish pie and I had fun looking for the fish. When the plates were cleared we were asked if everything was OK I pointed out that it was not and the waiter said that he would tell the chef. I'm never quite sure what the point of that is because if the chef cared he would not send out food of that standard in the first place. A bad experience.
