Decent old-fashioned working men's boozer near Shepherd's Bush Market. Cracking pint of Guinness but sadly no real ales. Screens showing the football, pool table at the back and lots of Newcastle United paraphernalia. We watched Chelsea vs Sunderland and enjoyed a few pints in a convivial atmosphere. Friendly bar staff too.

No nonsense pub which is probably the best in SB. Real regulars feel with working class punters and characters from all walks of life who are happy to have a laugh with non-regulars. Geordie landlord is direct but treats everyone with respect. Furniture is extremely dated(circa 1981) but adds to the character of the pub. Horse racing is all the rage during the day, ladbrokes slips can be obtained from behind the bar, but doesn't dominate. Beer is cheap and the guinness has always been top notch on my visits. Nice beer garden.

The kind of pub where you half expect Arthur Daley to walk through the doors at any minute.

Somewhat dark, dingy, unrefined, vaguely unclean and down at heel feeling in this pub with lots of daytime solitary drinking going on. That said here there are very pleasant and kind hearted bar staff along with a great atmosphere pre the QPR games. Good beer.

Likeable pub, all told.

Just about the perfect pre match pub. I get to see Rangers a couple of times a season so I go in with my season ticket holding mates. There was plenty of staff so there was no waiting and the IPA was fine. TVs kept us up to date of events elsewhere.

Many modern people would turn their noses up at this sort of pub, but give me one like this with characters and atmosphere than soft lighting, furnishings and awful background music any time.

Only GK IPA so had a pint of Stella. Your average Joe's kind of pub with a pool table and sports on. Has QPR/Newcastle United/England/Celtic stuff on the walls (and ceiling). Got a bit more adventurous after a few games of pool and tried the GK IPA - wish I hadn't and reverted to lager. We only really stayed onhere because it was lashing down with rain. I suppose at least it's not crammed and standing room only like the pubs on the Green.
