| My favourite Corbridge pub.. I’m not usually a fan of Greene King pubs, as they can feel very commercial, but I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of beers, GK IPA, Abbot, Hazy day and a few others I can’t remember.. | The second pub I tried in Corbridge was the Black Bull. It's a Greene King pub and at least the prices were more reasonable here than in the nearby Angel. Ales were Belhaven Golden Bay, Morland Old Golden Hen, Greene King IPA & Up The Wall Landlord's Choice. Had a mixture of local drinkers and diners. But was fairly quiet on this weekday afternoon. | Its a mile from the station!!! Gorgeous from the outside, dark and cosy but spacious inside. Food is a little expensive (not too unusual in this village though) and well kept real ale from 4 hand pulls is on offer. Davestu - 6 Jul 2011 14:09 |
