The Smack, Whitstable

Traditional back street Whitstable establishment.. attractive ‘tiled’ brick on front so common around here... Very lively, with tourists and locals alike... bit of a sing song going on in front bar... Knew it was gem when I walked in... surprisingly large garden packed in summer, especially as Euro’s were showing on outdoor TVs.. Good pub grub... Shepard Neame Masterbrew went down nicely...

The Old Neptune, Whitstable

Very famous ‘pub on the beach’ that gets seriously busy every weekend when the DFL folk are in town... Rightly so though, amazing location and not as expensive as others in Whitstable.. Whitstable bay beers and Harvey’s, lots of choice... had a couple of pale ales and a Kentish pip cider... 6 oyster and chips! What’s not to like! PS seriously wonky floors just add to the feeling it’s been around a while and has many a tale to tell...

The Quayside, Whitstable

Not many reviews lately.. big open pub (would probably have been 3 rooms) with small courtyard garden.. Think It was Breakspear beer on hand pull, but settled on an Old Rosie...
