| Now being a pompey guy the reputation of this pub has always been a worrying factor. But I have been using this pub regularly for a few months now and can tell you the reputation is completely inaccurate. Good prices, friendly staff, decent food.. I am happy with just those points but it seems that the pub is changing its image and has become more appealing. it has seen a new manager come in this year and it would seem he is doing the right things with the look and the team.
