Highly recommended by Camra, but alas not by me.It's a run of the mill boozer, (nothing wrong with that) but nothing exceptional.

The current owners are sadly leaving later this summer to spend more time with their new daughter, but I'm reliably informed the pub will remain in safe hands.

Great sun trap BTW!

Great little pub with friendly bar staff and cliental; something for everyone here - real ale from Teignworthy and Young's Special (don't see that very often these days!) plus a guest ale. At one end of the bar is a games room with pool table and a large TV showing live games; on the other side a bar where conversation dominates. Food menu looks good but not tried it (yet!). Easily the best pub in Wellington.

nice local boozer, friendly staff. Suprised by lack of local beer even though there are some good local breweries around the area.

This pub is on the Somerset ||Camras pub trail, therefore one of the best 43 pubs in Somerset (according to CAMRA).
Believe me it aint, not even in the top 100.
Its just a regular back street boozer seving overpriced under conditioned beer. Doubtful if its even the best pub in Wellingtonm

Arriving to find two cars and two mobility vehicles in the car park, we could have quite easily have been walking into an old peoples' home. However once inside, the clientele was clearly younger than we anticipated. The locals and the staff behind the bar were also extremely friendly. Situated along a side street in this market town, the pub has two separate drinking areas. The one has bedpans on the walls (still definitely not an old peoples' home), along with a pool table and a dartboard. A door to the side led off to a skittles alley. Beers available were Teignworthy Neap Tide, Sharps Doom Bar and O'Hanlons Stormstay. Cider was from Sheppys.

Best pub in Wellington to my tastes. Good real ales on tap - regularly feature Doom Bar.
Mostly a "locals" pub, and welcoming, too. Well-behaved dogs admitted. Pool, skittles and an infernal duke box, but not too loud, and not piped throughout the pub.
Great place for a good pint and a chat.

Got thrown out of here (along with my dad) for having had too many drinks - we'd had 2 cans of beer each.

Not planning on using it again...
