The Station Inn has just been named Cleveland Camra Spring Pub of the Season 2010. 8 cask ales all kept in great condition. A first class pub.

I agree that the real ales are served too cold. Very good food and very good value. Hopefully the guy in charge will sort the beer temp out.

The food is still good value and yes the views are great but the beer quality has fallen to a very low level. No longer worth going to for real ale.

Please note that this pub is now under new management. At the moment it is being redecorated but is still open. Real ales are still served. Had a great pint of Black Dog's Abbey Ale when I was in there. New people running the place were very freindly.

The Black Horse Vaults, Whitby
A great little pub. Run by a young landlady who knows what she is doing. Used by locals and holiday makers. Usually 4 real ales, always well kept and a good selection of bottled ciders and Belgian beers. The bar staff are always polite and efficient. Well worth a visit.

The Three Tuns, York
First visit to this pub. Only went in because it was close to a venue I was going to. Had a very good pint of Banks Mild and the food being served looked good. Would definately go in again when I am in York
