Excellent pint of Spitfire very friendly pub easy off the train there it is well worth a visit.

A pleasant multi-roomed pub with a good selection of real ales and friendly service. Lots of railway memorabilia on the walls, will definately visit again

Superb pub, good selection of real ales in good condition, friendly bar maid, good atmosphere, really enjoyed this pub.

My previous review was too brief! The beer is excellent, that goes without saying. But the building is interesting, full of railway memorabilia. Stayed for the regular pub quiz on Wednesday, and as this was the day before Halloween, all the questions had a supernatural theme. It was good fun and the crowd seemed to have a good time too. A very lovely pub.
