Village Inn, Pinner

The smell, the smell! Cheap as chips, but you just can't get away from the horrible stink in that place.

The Malt Shovel, Uxbridge

Lovely big garden area which is great for the summer. Had a delicious black pudding and poached egg salad and will be returning if/when the sun does.

The DISTILLERS, Barbican

Hired it (free provided we spent 1,500 behind thebar) for my 30th and can't speak highly enough of the place. Looking forward to going back at a slightly quieter time!

The Tattershall Castle, Embankment

Can't beat standing on that top deck on a freezing cold London day. Cracking!

St Stephens Tavern, Westminster

Tried that lemon flavoured Badger Beer on Saturday; fantastic. Location means it is a bit of a tourist magnet but a fine pub nonetheless.

The Vine, Hillingdon

Really surprised to see it rated so lowly. Newly decorated, very friendly staff, good selection of beers and a 'pie of the day' to die for. Decent quiz on Thursday nights too, although it is one of those 'off the shelf' jobs.

The Cowley Brick, Uxbridge

Have lived near to the Brick for a while but haven't been for a couple of years. It used to be ok for a drink with a mate, but not so good for a nice pint with the wife. Will have to take another look as based on my last visit I'd only have given it 4/10...

The North Star, Ealing

Went in last week and service wasn't too bad. I'm a big fan of the wide selection of beers and the pub had a great buzz about it for a rainy Wednesday night. Decent bit of grub as well, had a very tasty lamb kofte and pitta

The New Inn, Brentford

Definitely the one to go to if you're an away fan visiting Griffin park, but a very friendly pub in tis own right anyway.
